Digital release May 3 across streaming platforms
The self-titled debut album by Passerine Dream is set for digital release May 3, 2021, across all major streaming services. CD and vinyl will also be offered through an advance-order campaign.
Passerine Dream is the brainchild of Dave Tanner, who began recording tracks at home during the fall of 2020. Nine heartfelt songs and a handful of special guests later, a prevailing theme emerged: This is an album about hope.
“I needed this album for many reasons,” Tanner said. “We’ve all been grounded for so long, but rather than dwell on it or focus on defeatism, I tried to pour my energy into something positive and creative.”
Calling upon a few friends to help was a big part of the album experience. Guests include Erik Voeks, John Perrin, Marty Scott, Albert Bickley, John Countryman and Bob Dobro, all accomplished musicians.
The Passerine Dream album was mixed by Paul Malinowski at Massive Sound Studios and mastered by Mike Nolte at Eureka Mastering.
Album credits and song lyrics will be available across streaming platforms and at passerinedream.com. An advance-order campaign for CD and vinyl is underway at passerinedream.com and via Bandcamp.
